Work Package Nine
To develop recommendations for closing the research-practice gap
Based on the results from the previous WPs we will develop recommendations for how to improve translation of clinical research into clinical practice in Europe. The EIS will inform health decision makers in European countries about the current state of implementing research into practice and the EU comparisons we propose will identify areas for improvement in different health care settings (primary, secondary, specialised care) and can be used for identifying best strategies for improvement with greatest gain in the shortest time period.
