The Center of Stroke Research Berlin (CSB) offers a unique research environment in Germany for enablilng international, highly competitive clinical translational research in the area of stroke. As an integrated stroke research and treatment centre (IFB) the CSB presents ideal conditions for conducting all types of innovative studies in translational medicine. It allows various ways of combining scientific studies to improve translation of basic sciences into clinical research and the translation of clinical research into clinical practice.
The CSB is an integrated stroke research and treatment centre. Under the overall control of the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and audited by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and its international Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), the interdisciplinary concept:
Offers a unique research environment in Germany for enabling international, highly competitive clinical translational research in the area of stroke.
Enables direct collaborative working among clinicians, basic scientists, managers and policy makers within the following modules:
